In Dobi, Settings is the gear (⚙︎) at the top right of the Profile tab.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile › Settings › Account › Delete account.
This deletes your Dobi account, every record and photo on your phone and in your account, and any feedback you sent. If you own a dog in Dobi, your family members lose access to its records. If you signed in with Apple, you confirm with Apple once more.
Records you added to a dog someone else owns stay with that dog's family. If you can't open the app, email us and we will help.
How do I export my records?
Go to Profile › Settings › AI & Data › Export. You can:
- Create summary: a health summary to share with your vet (weight, medications and supplements, vaccines, test results, allergies, recent symptoms, food, and the last visit).
- Save as text file: all your records in a text file you keep.
The same screen also opens from Share with vet on the Profile tab.
How do I invite my family?
If you added the dog, go to Profile › Settings › Family, tap Invite, and choose Can record or Can view. Send them the code. A code works once, for 7 days.
- Can record members can add records and edit or delete the ones they added.
- Can view members can see everything but can't change anything.
To join: on Dobi's first screen, tap Have an invite code?, sign in, and enter the code. Already use Dobi? Go to Profile › Settings › Family › Join with a code.
The owner can remove a member in Family, and a member can leave there. Nothing is deleted; they just stop seeing the records.
Will my records come back on a new phone?
Yes. Records are saved on your phone first and then to your Dobi account. On a new phone, tap Already use Dobi? Sign in and use the same Apple or Google account.
How do I turn off AI answers?
Go to Profile › Settings › AI & Data › AI answers and switch it off. With AI off, nothing is sent to OpenAI, and you can still log records. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Is Dobi a vet?
No. Dobi doesn't diagnose, suggest treatment, or decide doses. AI answers are general information. Always check with your veterinarian before any medical decision.
