DayDiff Support
DayDiff is an iPhone weather app that shows how today compares with yesterday, through a dog named COCO. COCO's outfit and mood tell you what the weather is like, and a short line gives you the number (for example, "9° colder than yesterday"). With Plus you also get widgets for your Home Screen and Lock Screen.

Why does DayDiff ask for my location?
To show the weather where you are. You can allow precise or approximate location while using the app. If you say no, tap to pick a city instead. Your location goes to Apple WeatherKit for the forecast and is never sent to us. To change it later, go to iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > DayDiff. How do I switch between °F and °C?
Open DayDiff, tap the ••• button to open Settings, and choose the temperature unit. It starts with the unit that matches your iPhone's region.
What do I get with DayDiff Plus?
DayDiff is free for checking the weather and comparing today with yesterday, and COCO is there by day and asleep at night. DayDiff Plus (quarterly, yearly, or lifetime) unlocks COCO's commands and treats, COCO playing on their own, new outfits, and widgets on the Home Screen and Lock Screen. Tap ✦ Plus in the app to see the options. You can also manage Plus in Settings (••• → DayDiff Plus), where you can restore a purchase, redeem a code, and manage your subscription.
How do I restore my purchase?
Tap ✦ Plus, then Restore Purchases. You can also go to Settings (••• → DayDiff Plus → Restore Purchases). Sign in with the same Apple ID you used to buy Plus.
How do I redeem a DayDiff Plus offer code?
In DayDiff, go to Settings (••• → DayDiff Plus) and choose Redeem Code. You can also redeem in the App Store app: tap your profile picture, then Redeem Gift Card or Code, and enter the code. Opening the code's link on your iPhone works too.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. In DayDiff, go to Settings (••• → DayDiff Plus) and choose Manage Subscription. Or, on your iPhone, go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > DayDiff, then choose a plan or tap Cancel Subscription. Canceling stops future renewals. Plus stays on until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancel at least a day before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. We cannot cancel or refund for you; for refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com. A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment and does not renew.
How do I add the widgets?
Widgets come with DayDiff Plus, on both the Home Screen and the Lock Screen.
- Home Screen: touch and hold your Home Screen, tap +, and search for DayDiff.
- Lock Screen: touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, choose Lock Screen, and add DayDiff.
If you don't see DayDiff, make sure DayDiff Plus is active. You can restore it in Settings (••• → DayDiff Plus → Restore Purchases).
Why isn't my widget updating?
DayDiff widgets refresh the weather on their own about every two hours, and right away when you open the app. iOS decides the exact timing, so updates can sometimes be later. Check that DayDiff Plus is active and that Location Services is allowed for DayDiff (or that you picked a city). If it still doesn't update, remove the widget and add it again.
Where do weather alerts get their end time?
In the United States, alert end times come from the National Weather Service (weather.gov), using your approximate location. Outside the U.S., alerts show without an end time.
How do I delete my data?
DayDiff has no account and keeps your settings only on your phone. Delete the app to remove them.
